It has been at least six years ago that I first heard about the disappearance and murder of the women of Juarez.  That it has continued to this date is tragedy of an epic scale.

I have walked the streets of Juarez.  I have seen the black crosses on a pink ground, posters and remnants of posters now gone.

My heart goes out to the victims and the victims’ families, friends and neighbors.  They have so little and have lost so much.  For them all that remains is hope.  Hope clinging tenaciously to the mind like the tattered remnants of a poster to a wall, that the perpetrators of these heinous acts will be brought to justice and the fear will end.
